I found out today that my neighbor thought that my art work was store bought. This is an awkward moment for me in my artistic "career." On one side it does mean that my work has a polished finished look about it that is something people would consider buying from the store. On the other side it means that less people aren't recognizing it as my work, and if people think it is from a store they possibly think that I am only now as good as a mass production laborer in a sweatshop somewhere who does what took me 2 days in probably minutes... Part of me wants to think I am thinking to much into this. Part of me feels like it is the sad truth...
